The Chads are a Long Island, NY based pop punk ska band comprised of four working musicians from the local music scene. Combining diverse musical backgrounds with the stereotype of the alpha-male frat bro ‘Chad’, the band produces catchy, danceable music that never fails to get the place hopping and draw the attention of the masses.

The music is reminiscent of the pop, punk, rock and ska music of yesteryear, described as having subtle undertones of U2 and No Doubt, among many other deep influences from the bands’ strong musical background.

Having just come off winning the WEHM Battle of the Bands and performing on the Jumbalaya Stage at the Great South Bay Music Festival, The Chads are quickly gaining ground on the radio and in the tri-state area. They also appeared on the WPIX Morning Show ‘New York Living’ to promote their appearance at the festival and recently released their energetic first single, ‘The Neighbors’, a tongue-in-cheek tune based on a true story of local acquaintances living an alternate lifestyle, rife with chocolate toys, purple loofahs and pineapples. The band is poised to do big things in 2026. They will be entering Dream Studios with Jason Mekler shortly to begin recording their new EP and unleashing ‘The Chads’ upon the world.
